During a laporascopic gallbladder removal surgery, Dr. Romeiser improperly injured Judy’s common bile duct and attempted to fix it with a T-tube that eventually failed to treat the injury. Judy ultimately underwent a repair surgery at Northwestern and hospitalization. No offer to settle the case was ever made on behalf of Dr. Romeiser.
